yeah i could of done better on this one but i did work on my lighting and dimensions allot more. There is also allot missing from this story too. but i couldn't find the right stock to tell it appropriately. If there is anyone who would like to take pictures of themselves acting like ghost/zombie/tourtured slaves please let me know.
The colors are beautiful. You transformed a lot of warm-colored and low-saturation images into a high-contrast, blue image. The only thing that I find confusing is that the light source is behind her, yet the side facing us is light up strongly.
Yeah when I started to paint in the light source I was thinking dear in headlights or at least a weaker flashlight mainly because I loved her features and I didn't know how to darken the side facing us without taking away from her. I was afraid she might get lost in the picture.
That makes perfect sense. In that case, I would recommend one strong shadow on the ground around her. Keep most of that shoreline bright from the lantern that she is looking into while putting a heavy, directional shadow behind her, which the lantern casts. The moon is so dim that a lantern nearby would override its light, but only in the immediate vicinity.
Tru... I've tried a few things but nothing seems to work well... Well is 59 of these things in a year 2 down 57 more to go. I'll keep your tips in mind for next project
Sounds like a good idea! You've already worked this one over so much that you might want to move on. And only use my tips if they're helpful, not distracting.
no thankyou... I will become a better artist because of it. Hopefully by the last piece of the year i will have seen an improvement. Its nice to have extra pair of eyes and expertise to guide me.
